Glad to see the love for the malty Optimator. We started carrying it at opening. We dont know that any other airport bar has it (we havent seen it anyway :)).
Here is the visual. If the link isnt working we currently carry: Grimbergen Blonde Heavy Seas Loose Cannon Hop3 IPA Flying Dog Pale Ale Spaten Optimator Samuel Adams Blue Moon Killians Coors MGD Coors Light We'd be happy to take suggestions and add something by (very) popular demand if we can get it from our distributor(s). |
Wow AirspaceOnFT that's impressive! Way better than most clubs, now even more motivation to come visit.
As for me I've got some Breckenridge 471 IPA ^ |
Currently,
a bottle of Lindemands Kriek and a couple of bottles of Vedett (all Belgian :P) |
During the hot summer months I am addicted to Hoegaarden. I even picked up some of their famous hexagonal glasses on eBay which I keep chilled in the freezer. Try squeezing a piece of lemon in it which makes it even more refreshing!

oooh yes, I assume you mean the blonde Hoegaarden?
PS: Those hexagonal glasses are fairly easy to find in Belgium :D |

PS: Those hexagonal glasses are fairly easy to find in Belgium :D The hexagonal glasses aren't that easy to find in the US which is why I shopped for them on eBay. PS, I intend to pour myself at least one bottle of it tonight in my frozen hexagonal Hoegaarden glass. :D |
Cuir 3rd Anniversary from the Bruery. A barrel aged blend of Papier and Coton (75% ale/25% ale aged in bourbon barrels).
|
A friend gave me 3 bottles of Founders Dirty .......- Scotch Style Ale.
8.5% APV! A bit heavy and probably not ideal for a hot summer's day but so what. Me likes it. |

I am referring to the original Hoegaarden wheat/white beer that they sell worldwide. To the best of my knowledge their other flavors like Hoegaarden Rosée, Citron, Spéciale and Grand Cru are only sold in the Benelux countries.

The next time you have a Hoegaarden, raise your hexagonal glass in a toast to Pierre Celis, who started the brand in the 1960s and pretty much saved the witbier style from extinction. Pierre, a true Belgian gentleman, passed away in April.
