Right now, I have the following:
Black Cannon, Black IPA, Clipper City Brewing, Baltimore, MD Troegs Javahead, Coffee Stout, Troegs Brewing, Harrisburg, PA Old Dominion Oak Barrel Stout, Vanilla Stout, Old Dominion Brewing, VA Stegmaier Porter, Traditional Porter, Lions Brewery, Wilkes Barre, PA Was just in Belgium in January and visited Brussels, Brugge, and Ghent. While in Brussels, I visited the Cantillon Brewery in Brussels, famous for their Gueuze and Kriek beers. Amazing place to visit! Tried all the samples plus a 75 ml Cantillon Kriek bottle. Brought some of the Gueuze home with me to Maryland, as well as some Rochefort 10 and De Dolle Stille Nacht. Tried the Westvleteren 12 at the Delirium Cafe in Brussels - great stuff. Rochefort 10, St. Bernadus 12, and Chimay Bleu all sell for a 1 euro to 2 euro in the grocery stores! I can't wait to go back. Anyone in the MD/DC/NOVA out there? I so, I'm always up for talking about good beer. |
Pacifico, Goose Island IPA, Goose Island Honkers Ale, Brooklyn Pilsner, one pint of Captain Lawrence IPA and some Mich Ultras.
|
A Six Pack of Anchor Bock (love the Anchor Steam line) and some various Mexican beers (enjoyed a Sol last night).

Still Devassa Ruiva (in English Redheaded Slut). It is an excellent Rio de Janeiro IPA, but sells mostly because of the name. It comes in Blonde and Brunette as well as the Redhead, but the redhead is my favorite. Sadly they ahve just sold out to Antarctica, a larger brewery.

Goose Island Sofie and Newcastle.

How is the Captain Lawrence? I used to live in Pleasantville, and I've been meaning to try their beer.

I'll be honest - it's okay. I'm not loving the IPA that I have in the fridge (fortunately it's just one pint), but I've enjoyed some of their other varieties.
