Currently your 9:50am flight shows V0... not surprising for ATL-SFO especially on a monday morning. Inventory is F7 A0 Y1 B0 so it looks like you probably only have a chance at a gate upgrade if you're on a higher fare class ticket.

Thanks Rylan, maybe a K fare will be high enough. The flight was ticketed 2 months ago so I'm interested to see how successful I might be. Seat map is also showing 7 seats in FC. Thanks again.

There are tools you can buy (and some free ones). KVS for example will show all fare http://www.kvstool.com/class availability.

Ahh, I forgot about KVS. Do they also show DL Upgrade inventory at this time?

Yes but it is hard to read. I have it and use it but for a beginner it is probably overkill. Your suggestion is a good one and (I think) free?

Expert Flyer is a paid service, but they give a free trial (maybe a month or so, not certain).

I just checked the seat map, down to 4 seats up front. Yikes, may end up in the exit row after all.

When it comes to inventory, seat maps are not your friend.

Well on ATL-SFO monday morning with a K fare I think there is little chance, especially with only F4 now.
