757 Seats
I apologize as I know this topic has been discussed before, but I cannot search for 757.....On a recent trip to SLC I was on an outbound 757 that seemed clearly configured for international service (maybe not BE seats, but close)....footrests and AVOD. On the way back, no dice. Does anybody know of any way to tell when you book the flight what sort of 757 is scheduled on the route (IROPS or equipment change notwithstanding).

They are coded as "752" in the downloadable timetables. If it's 757, it'll have the regular domestic F seats.

Great, thanks.
I also seem to remember people saying that there were ways to tell based on SeatGuru charts (something about 6 rows versus 7 maybe)...do you know anything about that?

Quick rundown:
16 seats in F, Rows 1-4 - 757-200 with BusinessElite
22 seats in F, Rows 1-6 (no 6A/B) - 757 Domestic ETOPS; planes primarily used to Hawaii. F has footrests, but it's a domestic F seat with no AVOD.
24 seats in F, Rows 1-6 - regular domestic 757 without AVOD
26 seats in F, Rows 1-7 (no 1C/D) - 757 with AVOD/LiveTV

The most goof-proof way to tell if your 757 will have Biz seating or not is to look for a lack of overwing exits and 8 door instead of the normal 6

Yet another 757 question.....on my recent trip my outbound had "empower" ports and the return had regular AC. Seatguru doesn't show any 757's with empower anymore. Any way to tell for sure if it is empower or regular AC?

AFAIK, only the domestic 767-400 (in the "764" config) has EmPower.
