What Percentage of PMs Have Regular AMEX Platinum Cards?

As Feb 28 approaches, the last day that PM status will allow admittance to a CRC, I was wondering what percentage of PMs have a regular (not DL branded) AMEX platinum card. The AMEX platinum card will allow CRC admission with same day DL travel. I suspect that most PMs have this card. And the net effect of the new policy on CRC admissions will be small in terms of numbers, although obviously DL stands to make some $$$ as our AMEX platinum cards are swiped on admission.

So here goes... I, for one, have had an AMEX platinum card for years. How about the rest of you PMs?

I do and my wife does. You're 3 for 3. Twenty-five more and you'll be as good as Coach G and the Duke Women's B'ball Team.

I do. And I plan on using it at the CR (as I used to do regularly with CO and NW, before the days of reciprocity).

Wonder if the costs will get to be so great that AmEx modifies the program...

I don't. I never quite understood the value of paying for a credit card.

Wow, impressive DL credentials... if anyone should get free CRC privileges, it would be an EP PM 5MM customer such as yourself.

Cellist, this credit card may have some value depending on your uses... free car membership clubs, car rental discounts, airline club admissions on several airlines, etc.

I don't.

My Amex is branded (DL).

Just finally upgraded from the free one (AX DL SM options card) with half miles to the Gold ($85) with double miles.

I figure I'll get about 50,000 to 100,000 SMs more per year for $85.

I also have the "new" discounted CRC membership.

I do not have the Platinum Card from American Express. $300 (or whatever it is nowdays) just seems a bit too pricey for me.

I should add to the purpose of this thread... if you are a PM and do not have an AMEX platinum card, have you go on to purchase a CRC membership with $$$ or miles?

I don't. I have the DL branded plat which will give me 30.000 MQMs and about 150,000 regular miles this year (I use it for expenses that my employer reimburses ;-)).

I'm a DL PMM and I do have the amex plat, and even though CRC is a major factor in owning the card(after feb 28th) the advantages go beyond that for anyone who travels a lot.
