Question: Delta Meal Service (ATL-SAN)
Hello! I am usually a CO person, but I just booked the outbound portion of this summers vacation on Delta since it was available for miles. I was wondering if someone could provide me with Meal info for the longer segment of the flight. Is a hot lunch provided in FC? Alcohol offerings similar to CO?
DL1013 ATL-SAN
departing 11am (4 hr 32 mn flight)
we are in FC on what right now is a 767
Actually, any info would be appreciated ... entertainment, DL equipment comparison to CO, anything!
The flight isn't until July, but I have a habit of obsessing over travel, especially vacation travel
Have a great day.

After a brief check, it seems that this flight in July currently has a 767-300 assigned to it.....which means 24 FC seats (four rows of 6 seats per row....in a 2x2x2 configuration).
Delta serves a hot lunch/dinner on routes of this length....which is usually a chicken breast w/ 2 sides, salad, roll and desert.
As far as alcohol is concerned, there will be the usual variety of beers and liquor as mentioned at Delta.com.....as well as various wines (usually 2-3 choices onboard).
In addition, Delta currently offers a pair of specialty mixed drinks based on Stirrings mixers.....the "Mile-High Mojito" (my favorite
) and the Dirty Martini. However, availability might change between now and the date of your travel.....especially since Delta announced late last year that a new "line" of signature cocktails would be unveiled at some point this year.
Entertainment on the 763 is rather limited at this time (movie screen w/ projector). IIRC, they are supposed to eventually get upgraded to the "Song-style" personal IFE.....but who knows when that will occur.
