Anyone know how many of the ex-Song planes have been reconifigured?

And another question: Have they stopped repainting them? A flight attendant told me the bankrupcy judge halted the repainting process. Is there truth to this?

Bankruptcy judges don't interfere in routine maintenance decisions like airplane painting. I'd comment on the source of the ridiculous rumour you were told, but that would set off a firestorm of flaming. Oops - looks like I did it.

Well, I could imagine the judge ruling that they have to wait for a regular maintenance check when painting would ordinarily take place.

Those Song birds were recently painted... and if they're spending money to paint them again, out of the maintenance rotation, it's hard to make the case that's an expense they can't live without. (The color of the plane doesn't really affect the passenger experience.)

I do know some all-Y planes that are now wearing DL colors, and I've been on at least two reconfigured ships still painted green.
