Angry No MQM Miles on SQ?

Hello FTers -
Hope someone can shed some light on this.

I have a trip to Asia on SQ in Biz Class in a few weeks.

DL indicates on their website mileage credit is given for SQ flights as per the details below. When I called the DL Plat Desk to double check they informed me that they do give credit for mileage but it will not count towards MQM!

Anyone have experience with this or advice????
Seems they should have some disclaimer in the fine print, no???
What to do???

Singapore Airlines offers:18
Economy Class: Actual mileage flown
Business Class: 125% of mileage
First Class: 150% of mileage

Fine print -

18Singapore Airlines:
Mileage may be earned on Singapore Airlines-coded and operated flights. Mileage credit is not applicable for fares booked in G, N, Q, R, or V class, or for tickets issued as part of a cruise package.

From the "18" in your quote, it looks like you were on the Airline Partners site--this site only discusses earning "miles". While it might be a bit confusing, a flight that earns SkyMiles does not necessarily earn MQMs. What you needed to be looking at if you were interested in accruing MQMs is the Medallion Qualification Miles Calculation page--if you look on that page, SQ is not listed at all, indicating that SQ flights do not earn MQMs. So, sorry, but it looks like you're out of luck for MQMs on that flight.

On the bright side; you are flying SQ in Business.

Go to the SQ forum and read up on making the most of your flight.

Book the Cook, etc.

If you are flying on a full fare business ticket, call DL's partner award desk and see if there is upgrade availability in F on your flights. I think it's 50k miles round-trip which to me would be well worth the miles.

Yeah, Please go to the SQ Forum. You should need read more information about DL MQM. Exactly DL does not earned any MQM on code share with SQ. You should try do something else for flying with KE. I know exactly KE is part of Skyteam. You will able redeem miles on KE flights. It is best way to do fly with KE.

When I flew SQ I received DL Miles but not MQMs. I believe I did receive bonus miles based on my class of service. They were not MQM's.
