Upgrade Insight for Thanksgiving 2009
What are my upgrade chances on the weekday before Thanksgiving and the Sunday after? I’m thinking about using an AA FC award ticket on Sunday if I don’t have a good chance at an u/g on DL. I’m guessing I would have very good shot (80%+) on Wednesday? Have you seen first class sell out around Thanksgiving in the past?

I've never missed a Thanksgiving upgrade, be it as a Silver or Platinum (my 4 weeks of being a Gold fell in October). Shouldn't be an issue - it's a lot of leisure travellers who don't have elite status that are flying at this time.
