Bad day
Looks like I picked a bad day to quit flying Delta out of Dayton

I suspect it's not so much "out of DAY" as "into EWR" :/

Delayed due to ATC into EWR correct but it is the poor suckers flying to ORD who have a 4 hour delay and having to wait for a new aircraft to be flown in from CLE and they have already said the FO might be out of his hours by then

I remember waiting for CO flights from DAY to EWR and CLE in the 2006-2009 timeframe: yes they often ran late, but once a delay was posted it would most likely stick ... my colleagues who were booked on UA to ORD and IAD were griping endlessly that their flights were turning into "creepers" where the ETD would slide 10-15 min every 15-20 min
