How's STE? I've never been to Stevens Point Municipal Airport. Isn't it just a couple hundred miles from you?

Happy Friday Lounge! I meant to make my 2000th post here but messed that up, so post 2001 will have to do.

It's a rainy day here in Ohio. Flying DAY-ATL-DCA tonight. After my sister mentioned just last week that they were having a 30th birthday party for my brother-in-law this weekend, I was able to grab a roundtrip X fare for $263 only 7 days out, and all my upgrades cleared at the window. Hopefully that means the travel gods are looking favorably upon me.

I am not flying anywhere this weekend, oddly. I will have to get used to this for a while I guess

We will forgive you.

you are not joking! It has never stopped since about 2.00am. At least it is not frigidly cold like yesterday and Wednesday.

I need to scream... I'm going back to school, and start on Monday. My financial aid still hasn't been processed/posted, I'm on hold for hours trying to talk to financial aid people, the bursar's office won't answer my question of, "Will I be dropped from classes on Monday if I can't pay the $2,700 that's due and my financial aid still isn't posted?" and now I"m scared that I'll have quit work but won't be able to go back to school. Now, mind you, I can pay the $2,700 that's due eventually, but it will take me a few days to get that transferred.

Short term, can't you put it on a credit card and get miles/points in the program of your choice? I know that the Spousal Unit's employer will take credit cards from students for just about anything.

I don't want to pay the 2.5% convenience charge that they want me to pay.

See if anyone in the MS forum will pay the 2.5% in exchange for letting them put it on their card

In other news, Mr. Kipper locked the keys to the rental car in the rental car when he stopped to get gas.

Did the insurance cover the window he broke to get back in?
