Delta lounge access - different program on BP
I cannot find a definitive answer on this.
Basically, STE+ status with SAS. But my VS STE status on BP to collect the VS points. I have the virtual SAS card on my phone wallet.
Can I access the lounge on an international flight from ATL or does the program on the BP have to be the same one as using for the status?

In my experience, the FFP on your boarding pass is the access controlling program for lounge access, boarding priority, etc. If your VS status is only STE, be prepared to be denied access to a SkyClub. You could enter your SAS number, enter the club, and then change it prior to boarding the aircraft. I think that *could* work.

So further on this:
My return is a VS booking on DL metal. The VS site has my VS number on the booking, but the DL site has my SAS number (the STE+ number).
I did have the SAS number in the booking until checkin in LHR, then changed it to VS for the points. It looks like that change didn't stick according to DL.
So -
a) Is it possible to have the a different number across the two bookings?
b) If the SAS number is in DL's site, should that mean I can get all my STE+ privileges?
c) I assume I can change my FF# to the VS Nnumber at checking in on the return flight to get the VS points?
Never seen anything like this before and would love some feedback!

Incidentally FlyerAVL , we are actually in AVL now, returning from AVL via ATL later this week. So would be getting the FF# changed at the AVL checkin.

Very good point! I should really know better, given how useless the BA IT system is that I am more familiar with! I guess I hoped the VS/DL combo might be an improvement.

Also sorry about the weird weather going from 80 to a high of 34 tomorrow with maybe some snow this evening.
It should be easy at checkin. Just make sure you leave enough time if you are gonna fall in the bank of G4(Allegiant) flights leaving early morning on thurs-sun as that can back up security very badly. 5-6 a319/320 flights leaving within an hour of each other while everyone else flies mainly CRJ 550/700 or E170/175's except delta with the 717's

DL out of AVL to ATL is one of the only mainline big 3 routes we get, UA/AA are both regional carriers for all but 1 or 2 flights a day. Also now one our busiest routes since AA seems to be giving up the AVL-CLT route.
