I saw the first picture and thought “yikes.” The correct darker blue color is OK. The red laser stripes on the male sweater reminds me of a school picture background option from the early 1990s.

I liked the color scheme and style of the uniforms after (or as result of?) the NW/DL merger best. The new uniforms seem to look back to that.

I agree!! TACKY!

Also, as is said above, the Posen uniforms have style and class. Keep the Posen but change the material--isn't the material the problem for some?!

So Posen goes to Gap and now they are making these new ones?

Great point. He did just join Gap in Feb 2024 as Creative Director, although Delta said this process started in 2022.

I for one think the new uniforms suit DL well given how ordinary and uninspiring the company is.

That's unfair to Walmart. More like Ross Dress for Less.

As long as they are comfortable while working, I really don't care what they're wearing. Just make sure I get that PDB! Lol

Nah, as Ross still offers some designer brands. Charlie Brown could have done a better job designing the new DL uniforms.

Delta can get more premium uniforms when they decide they actually WANT to be a premium brand.

Apparently these GAP uniforms have been scrapped before rollout. Wonder how much Delta spent designing them?

I wouldn’t be surprised if Delta spent nothing. In my industry, the vendor presents options to us and are awarded contracts based on design, cost, etc. The payoff to the vendor for the design work is the contract.

I really like the uniforms they had prior to the passport plum ones, the navy blue one with red, and the red wrap dresses. Those were the best looking!
