How early can I drop bags at LHR T3 for a Delta flight?

How early can I drop bags at LHR T3 for a Delta flight?
Sorry, not a Delta regular and I've searched but can't find the info anywhere!

Is check-in open continuously at LHR T3 for Delta flights and/or is there a set period (3hrs?) beforehand that would be the earliest I could drop bags off (assuming OLCI works)?

Transatlantic flights, no status with any Skyteam airline.

VS handles DL at LHR. Checkin is available at any point same day. You can use the VS UpperClass Wing if flying DL. (Meaning car/taxi can drop you at private entrance)
