Delta to Expand in Asia in 2024
According to Skift, Delta is planning to increase capacity to Asia in 2024 with new announcements soon. My guess is more flights to Seoul, and Skift even says they are eyeing LAX to ICN. Would be nice if Delta tried some Southeast Asia routes but I do not believe they will.

ICN out of LAX would be great for onward connections on KE… issue with KE metal out of LAX is that they still haven’t embraced Premium Economy so there’s no middle ground between Y and J.

Trust me, I feel the same way about JFK to ICN. The Korean Air A380, which exclusively operates out of JFK, is very dated on the inside. Terrible business class.

I haven't flown J on their 748 so I have no idea if it's better than their 380.
And I too wish they had PE.

It's one of the best business class cabins in the sky. Much, much better than the 380.

I'd already be happy with some upgraded schedules to some tier 1 cities. PVG being the main one - I know there's some regulatory disagreements there, but the current US HUB-PVG schedule is a shell of its former self (not to mention the flight times themselves. At the moment, PVG-DTW misses a good chunk of late connection flights, forcing a DTW overnight)

I miss the former XXX-NRT-SIN connection. I actually liked the middle-of-the-night arrival in SIN. Upon arrival I would stay inside the terminal, have a bowl of wonton soup in an all-night place, sleep for six hours or so in the transit hotel, breakfast inside the terminal at Killiney Kopitiam, then go into the city in the morning already functioning on Singapore time.

I mean it's no Kosmo Suites (KE int'l first class), but honestly comes pretty close, again with the extra space of the upper deck of the 747.
