Question on Delta award BASIC fare
I have some just enough left-over Delta points to book a domestic "Basic" fare award ticket. I have no status with Delta, but have elite plus with KLM's FB. Can I use KLM's status to get a free checked bag allowance?

Most likely not since you will be booking a reward flight with your Skymiles membership number, not with your KLM number.
Do you have a Skymiles AmEx card? That is another was to get a free bag allowance
