Thoughts on best Skyclub

HNL: warmest staff, best overall satisfaction full stop.

I was just there last month. Agreed with the staff but it is all inside in an open-air airport.
I am pretty impressed with the new LAX club.

Any SkyClub with no line to enter ranks pretty high in my book.

Remove access from credit card holders. It's going to feel refreshing and empty in sky clubs.

AmEx is the only reason Delta exists today. Will literally never happen.

But to stay on topic: LAX and LGA.

100% agree. Joy, Chad, Gwen, and the rest of the crew are simply hands down the best. They also have mochi ice cream in a freezer. The club itself, however, is in desperate need of a makeover.

HNL would not have been my first choice, but maybe it's gotten better over the last few years.

AUS comes to mind for me.

I'm all in for MSY. Great staff who know and take care of the regulars and good local food.

No access issues except when there are special events such as the Super Bowl and really large conventions with 25,000+ attendees. Unfortunately, the airport wouldn't give hem the space they requested - they wanted a much larger club. I guess they didn't make as large a payoff as was needed.

I'm partial to the new ORD club - no lines, lots of seating, friendly staff, showers, boarding from lounge, great views, hot dog cart

I have to go with SLC. But I might be biased because the new club there is such an improvement over the old one.

Empty of food and booze as well as people I’d guess. Doesn’t the money from AmEx pay for what is offered?

I never really understood the point of these "best" threads. I go where I need to go, not where the clubs are good. If my meeting or vacation is in Chicago I'm not going to fly to LAX just because the club is nicer there.

Well, there's an element of I'm at XYZ airport and I only have 20 minutes, is it worth it to go to the club? If it's a good one, yes. If it's a bad one, you might be better off just getting a seat at the gate and waiting it out. Or is it worth making the trek over to the other SkyClub, etc.
