How to upgrade ke portion of a ke/dl award
Was able to book Premium Select award MNL/ICN/ATL on KE/DL . GUC confirmed on the ICN/ATL portion. Wonder if I can use additional miles to upgrade MNL/ICN leg into Business since it booked into Y? Is that possible provided there is still award space in Business available? Thank you.

If you have FULL Y, the SkyTeam Upgrade Program would seem to apply. You should be able to use DL miles to upgrade if KE makes the right category of upgrade inventory available.

When did the SkyTeam program to upgrade certain partner flights with miles from FULL Y fares end? [I agree this doesn't apply if OP indeed has award tickets.]

I don't know they ever did. All I was commenting on is that OP has an award, and Y is not an award class of service. Thus OP isn't eligible for one even if they still exist. (OP seems to be equating having an award with having a Y class of service)
