Correct on security, though it’s a breeze. East lounge is closed, west lounge is open. Depending on time of day, it’s either packed or pretty empty. I was recently there for a 9 hour layover; that’s how I know.

Slightly off topic, but the ICN transit tours are scheduled to resume in 2023 so I am hopeful that SK loosens some of the restrictions by then.

Random question:
Traveling ATL-ICN-SIN at the end of September. I know as STE+ I should have access to the Prestige lounge(s), but will I be able to bring in a companion as I recently did in the CDG AF lounge?
Thanks!

AFAIK yes as I haven't heard anything about SkyTeam rules being changed: ElitePlus on SkyTeam international itinerary gets one guest at SkyTeam departure lounges. Of course, this assumes that ICN-SIN is operated by KE.
