Delta One Sale - 148K SkyMiles to Europe - Sale Ends Tomorrow

My email listed Madrid, Frankfurt, Munich and Copenhagen, but I was able to find other cities. I just booked two seats to Barcelona late September.

You can ignore Award Travel Periods listed in email as they are wrong (which is typical for these 48 hour sales). It's actually July 5th - Jan 4th (with blackout dates). See Fare Rules below. Although July 5th is too close-in to meet 14-day advance purchase requirement (so validity is effectively July 12th - Jan 4th). Finding availability in July looks to be very challenging, but is better for August and beyond. Tue/Wed travel is generally easiest to find availability.

Pretty good availability for DTW-MUC in August.

I got MUC and FRA.

Already have a Europe trip scheduled for about the same times, so won't be taking advantage.

But, good to know they are doing this again - thought maybe DL wasn't going to have these anymore based on current demand.

At least they got an e-mail...I didn't get one. Maybe I filled out the marketing survey they sent me this morning incorrectly, lol.

Looks to require exclusively DL metal, right? Very annoying given their tendency to suppress inventory on domestic connections.

Similarly I had MUC and FRA along with DUB. I assumed it's because I do MUC or FRA so often.

I'll have to look this evening for other cities. Good availability to MUC in October but I'll have just returned from Oktoberfest a few days before.

Yep, a lot of long layovers in JFK and DTW. Probably getting a little close to departure to get a schedule change to put yourself on a better itinerary.

Yes, DL metal only (it's in Flight Application section of fare rules) so only EU destinations that are served non-stop by DL from US will be possible. Note that open-jaw bookings will still satisfy roundtrip booking requirement for award, so you can potentially return from a different EU airport than arrival and still get 148K roundtrip award level.

Brexit aside, looks like LHR is available as well. Snagged one in late October but seemed to be other times available also.
