Preferred Seating (KLM tickets)

Wife and I are both Flying Blue Platinum and we have a AMS-DTW flight coming up next month on Delta (KLM 6051). When looking on the booking and selecting seats, I note that we have been assigned seats 34A and C. Question is, do they leave the B seat (or H) free as all other sears in this section are only showing occupation on seats A and C (or G and J). Obviously it would not be ideal is a random person was to sit in between us.

What aircraft type is operating? 34 may not have a B seat depending on aircraft.

B is available. Not blocked. A and C are blue prefered seats. Generally DL only starts filing middle seats once all other window/ aisle are taken.

Probably can but just wondering why Delta assigned them seats when we are on the same booking.

If you have status, its cause they're preferred while B is not. Other possibilities, your preference listed in profile is window, there's is aisle.

Could be that, or that could be their default. It looks like all the seats are like that.
