Is something wrong with upgrade priority today, or did something change?
Anyone know if DL changed the upgrade priority or if something is broken today?
Diamond on main cabin fare with DL reserve, 33 out of 38 on the upgrade list.

I think more folks are buying UGs.
I’m DM 2mm (not that it matters).
Flying on award tix, but today
IAH-ATL 3/13 for 0 seats
ATL-RDU 10/39 for 0 seats - these have been especially challenging lately.

This is a known recent DL issue. Call in and they should be able to fix it for you. Something about Standby and Upgrade lists being mixed incorrectly.

Even if you were number 2 with 1 seat available you might as well have been number 38. Close only counts in horseshoes.

I called and the agent got the help desk on the phone and told me it was a known issue and the gate agent would have to fix it. Upgrades were already done and we were boarding when I got to the gate for my first flight, hopefully I can get it fixed in ATL for the next.
Return seems fine, cleared at the window.

I think so. I did SDC and am DM on Q fare. I’m 8/9 on one flight and 11/14 on another. Flights are mostly empty including comfort plus...
on hold with Delta now...
Update: first agent on DM line wasn’t that helpful. “There are a lot of elites on the flight”. Now on hold with ticketing department.
Told by phone agents have to fix at airport. Airport agents haven’t fixed it by removal and adding me back in (yet). Multiple DM line agents confirm issue with computer system.

So a red coat and SC tried to fix it and no fix. They tried to convince me 10 people ahead of me were using certificates or had reserve cards.
To prove them wrong I applied a RUC. Guess what, My position didn’t change on the list.
Went to the gate and GA confirmed all DMs were at the bottom of the list. Top of list were GM and FO. GA manually applied the UG and gave to me and another DM.
Hope savvy agent catches this on my next flight.
Hope DL fixes this soon.

This happened to me today on PLS-ATL. My friend got upgraded at check-in ahead of me. I texted Delta and they said it was because she booked her ticket before me. So ya seems like something is broken and they are using booking date on tickets.

1184, but per agents that actually know what’s going on they said it was a computer systems issue that is affecting ALL UG lists.
I wish agents would lie and try to convince me it’s other elites, others using certs etc. kudos to the agent that actually looked st the list and saw the errors.
