Child fares?

I'm looking at a booking in Delta One, one-way DUB-xJFK-DEN with two adults and two kids (10 and 8, so not lap infants). The fare conditions say that a child fare is available at 75% the base fare, which is pretty standard for international bookings where child discounts are available.

Of course Delta.com doesn't allow one to specify children in the search parameters (or at least not any way that I have found). Is there a way to price and book this? Does it require a phone call?

According to the website yes it requires a call. We did this for a friend's international adoption when she bought a last minute fare for the child. I seem to recall the the base fare in this case is full fare so you probably won't have much of savings over other published fares. Good Luck

They seem to be present on most ex-EU fares (ticket designator CH25 for ages 2-11). For ex-US fares, I don't see discounts and 2-11 minors look to be charged 100% of adult fares.

I have the same issue booking to BOG, childs fare is 75% of the fare, but its a multi-city fare with specific routing, used massager last night, agent was worthless, why does Delta not have this option like ALL the other airlines. I just booked it, $140 more than it should be

You can book it on Expedia, etc. but that comes with all the issues of a non-Delta issued ticket.

Here's an example. The 25% savings isn't much because it is only off of the base fare.

In general yes, but still $70 off one tickets, $140 total for two kids, $20 i would blow it off, $140, i will probably blow it off, Im saving $1400 per ticket with this routing in first/business class
