Echo what others mentioned above… tried both calling and texting.
It is just impossible to change a RUC cleared upgrade to a new flight without RUC space.
For context, the schedule change is 1hr40 minutes.

I got lucky and revenue management opened up 2 FC RUC seats ATL>LAX for me after my original flight was canceled. But I had to push them. With a sched change I don’t think I would’ve been as lucky.

Yeah they made me re-clear my last schedule change (hnl-jfk-chs) but I think it was legit because I changed to hnl-jfk-jax and also changed my outbound to leave from jax too that hadn't been schedule changed.

A little late to the party as this was back in February. The return HNL-JFK-BWI had cleared with RUC but the HNL-JFK leg was cancelled due to weather (the jfk-hnl leg was cancelled so we didn't have the aircraft). I was auto rebooked HNL-ATL-BWI but in main. I called in and got rerouted HNL-SEA-JFK-BWI with the first leg in D1 and the last two in F. My RUC ended up not being used.
