Trying to find tail number of flight

I'm looking for the tail number of flight DL 37 LHR-CVG on 9-11-01. It was diverted to Gander, Newfoundland. Everywhere I've looked online doesn't seem to go back that far. Any ideas?

Assuming you mean LGW-CVG, the tail number may have been N153DL, which is a B767-300ER that was retired only last year. Source:

I say "may have been" because that website is also showing DL60, LGW-LAX, with the same tail number that day.

It was N153DL.

DL60/61 was a LAX-BOS-LGW-BOS-LAX routing that started up in July 2001. In this case, N153DL came in from BOS and rotated to CVG, with a 767-300 coming from ATL went to BOS.
