2020 Pandemic Year Final Numbers
Had my last flight last week; BOS/FLL and will finish the year with 81,849 MQMs, 56 MQS and $11,432 MQD. Easy rollover MQM for Diamond again, but I'll have to pony up some cash if I want DM in 2022. I may not as I'll turn 70 in Jan 2022 and will probably be backing of of travel (by air at least) from then on. If I have a few trips to make, I'll have some RUCs left or a GAP fare.

Hit diamond legitimately in 2020 by the hair of my chinny chin chin. 2021 will be a really travel heavy year for me so I’m fine with that.

How can you get 250,000 MQM on only $11,338 of spend unless you had a ton of rollover or cc spend?

I am crossing 100K butt-in-seat (BIS) miles this week - not too shabby with only 3 INTL destinations (GRU, YUL, SIN) in the first 2+month of the year; stoppage thereafter due to Covid. 200K in a normal year.
Will have to review my Delta numbers.

Pretty minimal on Delta this year:
4,125 MQMs
7 MQSs
I was probably closer to 15 MQSs in reality but I did quite a few award tickets this year since I didn’t really feel like giving Delta actual money a lot of the time. In contrast, my AA numbers are way up from last year.

94,256 MQMs (about half are rollover from 2019)
19 MQSs
2574 MQDs
Overall a much slower year for my travel. All of the above was post Covid as the first couple months of the year I actually had no travel planned. Then Covid hit and tons of spring, summer, and fall trips got cancelled.
To me, the biggest reduction I had this year was in terms of MQDs. Usually I average $10-15K, but with DL’s drastic service cuts I only booked Y this year and just chanced the UG (whereas I usually book F a fair amount).
My AS and AA numbers are noticeably higher than normal.
I should make the MQD waiver in 2021 and requalify for PM in 2022 since everything rolls over this year. Currently have one trip planned in January, and two anticipated for spring and summer. Not sure what the fall will hold yet.

Slower year for me too.
120,469 MQM (84,677 rollover)
40 MQS
4009 MQD
Only 1 Int'l trip - Aruba
Only 1 work trip -- CVG
So, a sad, slow year for travel. I've not canceled 22 trips since the pandemic hit. Can't wait to get back into international travel.

49,675 MQM Miles (Rollover and Delta Reserve)
0 Segments
$0 MQD
First time since 1979 I didn't get on an airplane...I'm actually ok with it, considering. 2021 will be a busy leisure travel year, I hope - 4 international trips planned - PM is perfect for my needs.

Was set to have a big year, at the time COVID shut all my work travel down in February/March, I had 2x SFO, DXB, SIN, HND, and a couple others I'm forgetting now and that was just taking me to the end of April. Instead I ended with two trips for all of 2020 -- VIE and LAS.
25k of rollover put me at 50k for the year (not that it matters). We'll see what 2021 has in store and whether keeping PM into 2022 is feasible.

I finished out the year with ~38,500 MQM (24k were rollover) and 9 MQS. Managed to sneak in a couple early year mileage runs before everything came crashing down and then didn't fly DL from March until November.
Shouldn't have an issue requalifying for Gold, but Plat will likely be a stretch. We'll see what, if anything, DL does with the qualification requirements for 2021.
