I haven't flown DL that much since getting MM years ago, but I've always gotten luggage tags that said Silver Medallion and 1MM on them. This past year, I flew enough to actually get Silver and I got luggage tags to that just said Silver instead of Silver 1MM. Until I saw your message, I thought it might have been because I actually qualified for Silver instead of just getting it from being a 1MM. My digital card says 1MM on it if I actually expand it.

My pack arrived in the mail yesterday. Wish they would put the SM number on the tags, would be a lot more useful. They look a lot sturdier this year than the past few years.

A lot more useful how? If you check a bag then the printed tag already has the same info and more on it. I suppose if you have it on a carry-on that gets misplaced or lost and don't have any other contact info on any of them items, maybe, but that seems like a low-frequency payoff.
