C+ 'Uncheck' Option Missing

C+ 'Uncheck' Option Missing
Delta has me jumping through hoops to stick to my plan. I'd rather stay in an exit row aisle than be moved to C+.
But there's no opt-out on their check-in page. Hit "Save" and one of the pre-checked C+ options gets activated. .Not checking the "Request Upgrade" box at the top has - thus far - not worked for me. "Leave me where I was" isn't there at all.
What am I doing wrong?
