1A vs 4A on E175
I think the title is quite self explanatory
If this matters, the flight is operated by skywest.
I'm travelling alone and only 1A&4A are available (on the A side) so this seems like my only option...
Your opinions will be highly appreciated...

Im partial to 4A, especially if its an early morning of late night flight when Ill want to sleep, as 4A allows me to recline without guilt. That being said, the E175 might be the only plane where I dont mind the bulkhead. Theres plenty of legroom and the smaller bins right above your head are large enough to hold a laptop bag. If its a meal flight and you want to ensure your first choice, I might lean towards 1A. In my experience flight attendants always take orders front to back on Delta Connection flights regardless of flight number.

1A has more legroom and no one reclining into you and the bulkhead isnt restrictive on space. Im 64 and I always get 1A on the E-175 and CRJ-700/900 if its available.
Just board early as OH space is limited in F (the bin above the A side is useless for most items except jackets and small purses).

I think it comes down to having your bag closet to you for take off and landing since all of the A side F seats have a lot of legroom and even not reclined, these seats fee reclined some. I chose A since you can preorder your meal anyways.

I have yet to see pre-ordering on DL Connection. However, I prefer 4A because even if you can't get your bag in the F bins, the C+ bins are right behind you. Plus, you can get your computer bag underneath the seat in front of you. That said, I would take 1A over any seat on the other side.

HA! The first row of coach usually has far more legroom than first class; that's why I don't feel guilty. In reality I feel far more guilty reclining when I'm in coach than in first because of the legroom difference.

4A all the way! Underseat storage and no noise/light from the galley (especially bothersome in on a night flight in 1A-- there's a curtain but most FAs don't close it, making 1A my least favorite seat on the E175 at night).
