MQM on KE Ticket bought in KE Site

Do I get MQM/MQD on a Ticket I purchase on Korean Website? This is a 'M' class ticket that I don't see it in Delta Site. But Delta lists tickets with the exact same time. Please see screen shot attached. Any downside of buying on Korean Airlines site? Thanks

Korean Air earns based on a percentage of distance flown. https://www.delta.com/content/www/en...-partners.html

For an M class ticket it seems to be 100% of distance in MQM and 20% of distance as MQD.

M earns 100% of the flight distance in MQM - should be 10,048 (base) excluding elite bonus.

Thank you. I guess I wouldn't be able to use Global Upgrade certificate.

You need to book in DL M class for GUC upgrades.

Valid on Delta-marketed, Korean Air-operated flights for use globally on Delta's published fares booked in Y or B class to Korean Air's Z class, or booked in M class to Korean Air's O class.

Thanks. Does the DL 'M' class different from Korean Air's 'M' Class?

Yes. DL "M" earns MQDs based on the price of the ticket (airline fare components count, taxes do not), while KE "M" earns MQDs based on a percentage (20%) of the distance flown.

Both DL and KE "M" fares earn 100% MQMs (which are based on distance flown).

Yes. There are some partners where you can use a GUC when a flight is marketed by those carriers. However, KE is not one of those partners. Only DL marketed flights in YBM fare classes are eligible for KE operated flights. If it is marketed by KE, it is not eligible. This is all spelled out in the T&C's.
