Changing frequent flyer number on an award ticket

I have an unusual question.
Can you change the frequent flyer number on an award ticket?
For example, I am a Skyteam elite plus member with KE, but I booked an award ticket using my Delta skymiles(on Delta website) for a CI flight. Skyteam elite plus can check-in one extra piece of luggage, and have lounge access. So I want to change my Delta award ticket(flying on CI) to show KE flyer number and Skyteam status.
Is this doable? How and when to do this? At airport check-in counter?
Thank you.

Seems to me that your best chance is to call CI and see if they will put the KE number in. You might want to call DL and get the CI PNR and use that when you call. Is there a DL flight on the itin as well or just CI?

You may even be able to do it yourself on china-airlines.com if you have the CI PNR or the 006 ticket number. A few years ago once I had the ticket number I was able to select seats on the CI web site.
