Connecting in Zurich
Please indulge me if this has been explained before.
We will be ex-VIE to Zurich on Swiss and connecting to Delta to JFK. Will we be able to check suitcases through to JFK or claim and re-check at ZRH? Another way of putting it is whether Swiss will interline to Delta?

One ticket or two? If one, LX (Swiss) will interline your bag to DL no problem. If two, I would be very surprised if LX interlined the bag, given that LX & DL are are in different alliances (Star vs. SkyTeam) and they don't partner in any way.
