After going 2/23 in 2018, I'm now 1/1 in 2019!
BOS-LAS cleared at T-72. I guess the trick is to fly on Saturday, which is when both this week's and last year's two upgrades happened.

I've made two unscheduled RTs so far in 2019, and am 6/6. DCA-CVG (upgraded at gate, #1 for 3 seats) on 1/4; CVG-DCA on 1/6 (upgraded at ticket purchase); DCA-JFK-PBI-ATL-DCA all on 1/9 (DCA-JFK and ATL-DCA upgraded at 120 hour mark; JFK-PBI upgraded 3 days out; PBI-ATL, was #9 for 3 empties 60 minutes before departure; was expecting to sit in 13F but the magic slip of paper popped out of the scanner at the gate with 4B on it).

Woke up early on flight day, again, but no earthquake this time. Called PM line, confirmed on earlier flight. Went from 3/37 on FC UG list with 2 open on RUC to 1/29 on D1 UG list with 3 open seats.
I'll note the number of people being thankful to the lovely folks at TSA who won't be paid today appears to be appreciated, it has also made me feel a wee bit guilty about spoiling myself.

Was 3/85 on this morning's LAX-ATL flight. Applied RUC at T-4, stayed 1/85 and cleared to 1C at boarding. Definite perk of 360.

Hey all. Just curious how everyone has fared when it comes to getting a complimentary upgrade to D1 on domestic routes? I realize YMMV due to specific routes, time of year, day of travel, etc. But I'm just curious what kind of luck you guys have had since DL made the change. I'm looking to do some MR's on Saturdays next year and LAX-JFK-LAX is one of a couple routes that have caught my eye and it's always nicer to ride up front if you can.

DM on a U fare.
1/9 DSM-ATL cleared at the DM Window (plane was half full in Y)
1/9 ATL-SRQ I was 5 of 46 for 1 F seat. F had been sold out for 2 weeks until one opened up about 2 hours prior to takeoff

1/14 midday MEM-ATL (MD88) cleared at window
1/14 midday ATL-CMH (B739) cleared at window
I bought this ticket a few hours before the window opened on Wednesday, but had to cancel later after the plans changed

Odd situation on tomorrow's flight SEA-LAX. There are currently 10 people on the F upgrade list, but the first person on the list is also on the C+ List. Nobody else is on C+ List, because there are 22 open seats in C+, so why isn't this #1 person automatically placed in C+?

I was batting 1.000 as a Diamond this year - but my upcoming (1.5 hr away) ATL-->MIA may be the first time I'm stuck in C+. 8/42 on the list with one FC seat open
