Baggage Question
Hi
I've just been given a status match to Platinum (matching my BA Gold status). I have a Skymiles redemption booking coming up EWR-ATL-CUN for 4 of us on the PNR, travelling in Comfort+
I'm finding the baggage page confusing. Can someone please confirm the baggage allowance for us on this trip to Mexico with a domestic connection?
Thanks!

Quite a few routes are left out of the Medallion table. That's why they have the cover-all "All Other Int'l Destinations" line for brevity. The limit of 1 50 lb. bag for Medallions to/from Mexico is most likely due to it's partner Aeromexico having that limit on elites for US to/from Mexico flights. This prevents surprises if Delta were to give 2 free bags going down, and AM would give you only 1 if you were flying them back.

Also, remember that an e-ticket receipt issued by a US carrier must by law show you the baggage charges for each of the first two bags as well as other pertinent limits such as weight. This is shown segment-by-segment.
What shows on your e-ticket is what the check-in agent will see when you drop your bags off. Thus, you will always know your allowance and if it appears to be wrong, you may call in before you travel rather than having a dispute at the counter.

I have SkyTeam Elite Plus with Garuda and will be flying intra US on DL on a RJ900 aircraft. From what I can tell from the DL page, my free checked baggage allowance (inclusive of the elite status allowance) is three pieces at 70 lbs each, is that correct?
