Yes. Note if there's multiple frequencies a day that not all may be D1. However this was a route they added D1 to

Thanks. I knew that BOS-SFO D1 was going/gone, but I didn't realize that BOS-LAX D1 was added so quickly. Oh well, I was hoping for lie-flat at a reasonable price (when they still sold it as F) but looks like it is now a full-fledged D1.

You can definitely get good prices if you can catch when they have Z inventory available... but it is more difficult to find it compared to low fares on the normal F flights.

As noted in the press release above, only 2 out of 3 of the BOS-LAX flights are D1, so there is also a non-D1 non-stop (flights 1338 and 2532 which operate on a 737). The FC flight is generally considerably cheaper than the 2 D1 flights and you are not allowed to SDC from the FC flight to a D1 flight.

Between the screen shot above, and then looking at seat map, any answer here is secondary.

It has had D1 service for awhile, but it is not in fact a "full-fledged" D1 route (like JFK-LAX/SFO) in the sense that not all flights are guaranteed to be D1 --

Ah, got it. Thank you for the detailed explanation. So this is a "partial" rollout in the sense that 2 out of 3 are D1. I guess people are (I am) wondering when/if this becomes full rollout with all D1 services BOS/LAX. I am somewhat leery of partial rollouts like this, for the possible equipment swaps and such.

DL offers full D1 on the flights marketed as D1. However due to demand doesn't offer D1 on all of the nonstops. The ones marketed as D1, will have lay flat 757s. Same thing on JFK/SEA. Only 1 (sometimes 2) flight a day is D1. There's not demand for D1 on all the nonstop flights, thus it's only offered on one of them.

Not sure what partial means here. This isn't a partial rollout. There's no intention to upgrade the other nonstops.
