Email from Delta: A Special Gift For Raleigh Medallion Members

I got this email today:

The copy is pretty hokey, I'm not even sure where "Historic Oakwood" is but I guess I'll try it out.

They told ME Nashville Medallion Members were special... I am beginning to think they tell all the medallion members that.

Sidebar, equally obscure location mentioned in my email.

Well apparently Atlanta medallions are not special at all. Which I believe.

I just went to their website and they are giving everyone 30 free days -- also looks like the sign-up requires a credit card so they can start auto billing you $8.99 month after the free period expires. This site gives it really bad reviews -- one would think DL would be careful about the partners it brings to members however maybe DL gets an affiliate fee for every member who signs up, so it's just extra $$$ to the DL bottom line?

I got this "offer" as well. Contemplated sending DL a snarky response that I am most defnitely not a Raleigh Medallion Member, and explaining to them that Durham is a completely separate city from Raleigh. At least they didn't use Raleigh-Durham as if it were a single city.

What does ATL get? A long Sky Priority line at check-in?

We get three additional free months of those red "FIXTURE SECURED TO STRUCTURE" hangtags. Read while you walk!

I should have done just that, especially as I live in Durham not Raleigh
