EATS Menu being replaced June 1

I hadn't seen any discussion of this; thought it would be of interest. Delta will eliminate the EATS menu on June 1 and replace it with its new Flight Fuel menus.

New menus are available for

Domestic

Transcon

Hawaii

Selections will be updated every six months, which is definitely welcome, though I must say the regular menu selections look pretty familiar.

I guess I'll need to order the roast beef sliders one last time this weekend. RIP.

My thought as well. The cheese platters on the transcon menu look good. Too bad I won't ever get it.

Looks better than most US airline domestic FC meals.

The new menu still looks very uninspired to me. I miss the original EATS menu in 2007. Those had more interesting items on them.

Anyone know if they'll be stocking the Sweet Tea Vodka in F/J as well?

These menus are really not very different from the old ones. Also, I don't understand why they don't offer more hot options given that, AFAIK, their entire mainline fleet is equipped with ovens.

Does Brownie Brittle on the BOB menu mean it's exiting the snack basket?

Roast beef sliders were my favorite too. Sad to see them go.

So for the t-con I assume they are going to be using the ovens since there are a couple items that should be hot (breakfast wraps and burger) on the menu?

Also wondering how it will work for C+, since they get a Luvo wrap. Can you substitute for one of the other items especially since they cost less?

I got food poisoning the last time I had them. Haven't ordered them since.

Turkey is a "safe" option I suppose.

Certainly looks like an improvement. Prices seem to have gone up but certainly are reasonable with anything i'd buy in the airport. Cost is less of the issue as long as the food is decent.
