Any advantage to entering the SC with an Int'l C BP instead of an Amex Plat?

I'll be flying KE Business to ICN next month but first I'll take a few DL domestic flights to connect to the international segment. Usually I enter Skyclubs with my Amex Platinum. On the upcoming trip is there any advantage to entering with my KE BP instead? If I was on American for example entering as such gets you premium drink coupons.

What leads you to believe that you are entitled to SkyClub access with your Amex when flying KE?Originally Posted by CMK10

There is no difference in how you enter/what you get - except I think ATL F and JFK 4 (maybe). For a moment (and maybe still happening, I don't know), pre INTL Departures got a light "bistro" meal or something. Nothing special and I'm not even sure if that is still an ongoing thing.

I'm flying RDU-DTW-ORD-ICN with the first two flights on Delta. My original post wasn't clear so I've edited it.Originally Posted by UpgradeMe

Thanks WWads! I hadn't seen it in a while, but never personally partook - so suspected it hadn't ended.Originally Posted by WWads

I always try to enter using my J boarding pass (like I will do next week) rather than my AX platinum. AX pays for every entry into the club, and I see no reason to make AX (and in reality me through annual fees) pay when they don't have to.

Also, you don't have to pull out your Amex. Just your BP and (maybe) ID.
Not as helpful if they're both in your wallet anyway, but hey, every little bit.

Reporting back on this:
- Handed agent my RDU-MSP BP as part of RDU-MSP-ORD-ICN in F/C.
- Agent scanned it and asked for my Amex Platinum. I said I was on an international trip.
- Handed agent my ORD-ICN BP, agent scanned that and asked what my status with Delta was
- I informed agent that my status didn't matter, the ticket was a Business Class one.
- Second agent worked on it and eventually had to key in manually that I was on Korean in Business Class.
Real hassle, might just use the Amex Platinum in MSP to save the headache.
