At the end of 2015, will you have earned or burned Skymiles?

Based on the amount of SM in your account in January 2015 and your projected balance on January 1, 2016, will you have increased or decreased your balance in 2015?

I've decreased by 75%. Cashed in miles for 3 US coast to coast FC/D1 flights, 1 Intl BE/D1 and a 2016 trip for the family to LIH (Kauai) in FC.

DL is still my default airline (live in ATL) but I have definitively shifted my Intl flying to other carriers for an improved experience.

100% earned since I just cam back to DL in July after a few years elsewhere. They will be burned though because I don't sit on them long!

Mine will have increased only, I have not used any of my miles this year. About 90% of my current miles balance came from the new RDM model in 2015.

Being required to purchase high priced airfare(within a 7 day window at least 50% of the time), combined with all my travel this year being domestic has caused my Skymiles balance to soar.

Down from well over 1M to under 1/2M. Burning asap.

Also MQD spend cut in half this year. Will reduce even more in 2016.

I used 500K for business class trip to London, however, the trip was booked in late 2014. But I still burned more than I earned this year.

Started the year with 200K. Now down to 10K.

Burned most of them on low-level J awards.

As others I am burning, made sure I got my SYD trip in while it still is 160K.

Took a look at my earn rate too, 30K less miles than on the old system, 25% decrease.

I earned 281 miles in 2015 and $56 MQDs. LOL. The only reason I got that many is because I mistakenly credited a JFK-BOS flight to DL instead of FB. I had a net outflow as I spent 2,400 miles on a one year WSJ print and digital subscription. Best use of SkyMiles ever since the WSJ subscription retails for close to $400.

Burned. Still earned a lot, but the upcoming trip to NZ and Australia in F used up more than I earned.

Flew RDU-MAD with the wife in J this summer. Booked last December and got them for 125K each. Later flew RDU-MEM in coach and it was 62.5K per person. Ouch. But it was worth it for the surprise party we were able to fit in.

This year I've earned more than I've spent. I'm one of the few that benefits from the new system (but only by about 10% over the former system).

Up several hundred thousand from January. Not sure how it's that much. Little bit of everything I guess...Starwood points, AMEX, miles, Fidelity, etc.

I am about even. But I still have more than a few in reserve.
