Update on First Class Sport Coat

All -

Since we had such a lively discussion about the case of the missing sport coat in F earlier, I thought I'd provide an update. In case you missed it, you can catch the (closed) thread here:

While a strong majority of the FT community had little (read: none whatsoever) sympathy for the OP (me), there were a few legal types that supported the case for getting more than just a couple skypesos in compensation. I'm happy to report that the case has been closed...

Unfortunately no sport coats turned up at the myriad lost-and-found centers in the Delta network. No surprise there. There was a surprise in that Delta did accept responsibility for the loss of the coat and offered a full reimbursement. It took a few weeks after my online complaint form was filled out to get a response which I suspect means it was escalated to higher powers.

Great! And thanks so much for sharing that they agreed to take responsibility. Sounds like great customer service.
