KE blackout dates now sector specific
Finally. KE blackout dates are now sector specific and not always systemwide.
See:
http://www.delta.com/content/www/en_...onditions.html
and expand the Blackout Dates section.
DL now has KE blackout dates in three groups: Korea Domestic, N.A. and S.A. departure, and all other areas departure.
A big step forward, removing the earlier ridiculous blackouts systemwide when only a few flight sectors were under KE's peak pricing.
Still, though, ever only 1 seat in O and only 2 in X available on KE..
BUT, now KE flights are available all week long again, vs. only Mon-Thu, as was the case with most (if not all) KE flights for the last month+ (Fri-Sun, on most routes, there were never any KE flights available during the non-blacked out periods).

Thank you for sharing this. This is indeed a big step for those of us who want to redeem miles using KE metal.
On the other hand, DL still enforces system wide blackout date on CZ (China Southern), which is very strange as CZ does not pose any blackout date on award tickets on their metal. This must be something special for the partnership between DL and CZ, or maybe it is another DL one-side decision?

Recent as of a few (about 3?) months ago. If you want to fly two on the same flight now, one pax will have to fly in O, other in X.
