250 Sky Miles for survey. More "enhancements" coming?
So I just got an email from Delta asking me to fill out a survey with questions only pertaining to their FF/Sky Miles program, and in return I got 250 SM. did anyone else get the same email today? And this begs the question: what " enhancements", if any, does Delta have up their sleeve this time? Granted, I've only held status with them for 2 years, but I've never received a survey from them like this before so I'm a little curious of their intentions with this data. Then again, for all I know, this is a regular survey they've been sending out for a while and it's just wishful thinking to think they might actually improve the program.

What did the survey ask? Were there any obvious themes?

The core of the survey was a listing of all the Medallion benefits and asked me to value them on a 1-10 scale. It also asked for ratings of the SkyMiles program - with separate questions diving into your satisfaction separately with the elite status program, complimentary and certificate-based upgrades, and the redeemable miles program.
There were also a set of questions trying to identify which other competing airlines you may be loyal to, and there was a free response field where you could write impressions/suggestions pertaining to SkyMiles.
The survey didn't seem to have a particular theme - it was more of an all-up assessment of the program.
As for demographics, I'm a Seattle-based DM who travels on a mix of discounted Y/J tickets, and I'm dependent on the Amex waiver with a comparatively low MQD balance.

well, how about this for an enhancement; The reintroduction of ghost DM upgrades on JFK - SFO. Just look at how empty the D1 cabins are. There are till two flights left to go out tonight and both D1 cabins are very very empty.

One question asks for the two places where you get most of your information about the Skymiles program. A number of places such as Delta.com are listed that can be checked off, and there’s also one free text field. Naturally, I typed “Flyertalk” in that spot.

Odd, I never get these surveys.
But I pretty reliably get a survey about cabin cleanliness when what I really want to do is comment on the flight crew.

The ones I get are very concerned with the conditions on the jetbridge. Perhaps we have all unknowingly been designated as experts in discreet segments of the DL experience and our opinions will only be solicited on that particular aspect. So in the future if I encounter unacceptable cabin conditions, perhaps you can mention that in your survey response. Let me know if you have any problems with the jetbridge and I'll take care of it immediately.

I seem to get a lot of surveys about my "inflight experience" ... and most of the questions are followed by a text box where I'm supposed to explain why I didn't give an "Excellent" rating
just because there's a normal level of service, with nothing out of the ordinary on the positive side, I'm not necessarily going to give an "Excellent" rating; similarly, I'm not necessarily going to comment negatively about the fact that the FA didn't offer to take my jacket on a redeye even though I wanted to keep it on anyway

Plus, and correct me if I am wrong, not getting 5's can impact other things like JD powers ranks etc???
