MQM calculation

I am booking a complicated international itinerary. The ticket is issued on Delta ticket stock, with 6 flights on Delta, KLM, AF and Croatian airlines metal, and flights with Delta, KLM and AF flight numbers. All is in business class, but several fare basis's are used, including J, D and I. Before booking I wanted to know the MQMs, since I am concerned about re-qualifying for Platinum and possibly Diamond. I spoke with 3 agents at Delta, including 2 supervisors and asked them to calculate the MQMs. I got three dramatically different numbers, with differences as great as 10,000 MQMs. And no one was willing to put their calculation in into the record. The bottom line was that they indicated that after I purchase and fly, I'll find out how may MQMs. (All of this is to say nothing of the potential confusion about earned miles and MQDs.) I find this unacceptable as frankly in part I decide on my choice of carrier based on qualifying for elite status. (I really don't care about the actual miles, since they are increasingly useless.) Tangentially, I have gold (one-world emerald status) with BA as well, and thank goodness their calculation of tier points for qualifying for elite status is still simple. Does anyone know where and from whom I can get unambiguous MQMs calculations. Again, this is simple for flights on Delta or those booked on Delta.com. But the itinerary I am interested in cannot be booked on Delta.com.

One can do his own.

Great Circle Mapper for distances in statute miles.

http://www.gcmap.com/mapui?

Booking classes from ticket receipt or confirmation.

Rates by marketing carrier booking class for qualifying operating carriers from DL airline charts.

Add rudimentary math skills.

He did, and got three different answers, which is why he's posting.

DL distances sometimes differ slightly from great circle numbers, but if you know booking classes and marketing carrier, plus operating carriers to eliminate segments not flown by DL partners or SkyTeam members, you should be able to do the calculation yourself. Be aware that direct flights (same flight number with a stop or aircraft change) are counted as origin to destination distance.

According to DL website:

J gets 200% and D/I get 150% (DL/AF/KLM)

Getting them actually credited properly on KLM/AF is another story...

....and my guess is that the Croatian operated segment(s) will earn nothing.

Here's TTJoseph's calculator, which I personally find very useful! His MQM calculations are quite accurate!! However, RDM calculations are based on the old earning scheme, and not the new one.

Even if it is on a DL (006) stock, like in OP's case?

The flight on Croatian is shown marketed as a KLM code share.

On a related issue, all segments are on 006 stock. My question is whether a flight with a KL flight number, but flown on KQ (Kenya airways) (or Croatian) metal will have MQMs calculated as if the partner airline is KL or KQ?

For the Croatia flight, it doesn't matter if it is KLM marketed. If the operator is not a DL mileage partner, you get no miles. This is pretty much a standard rule among all mileage programs. From the T&C's --

"Unless otherwise noted, mileage credit is only applicable to SkyTeam-marketed flights operated by a SkyTeam member airline. Mileage credit is not applicable to a SkyTeam-marketed flight operated by another airline."

Not sure about the mileage earned on the KQ flight.
