DL Comfort+ roll out
Does anyone know how fast Delta is going to roll out the new Comfort+ seats on the international A330-300? It looks like an improvement.

Me thinks you will be rather disappointed. The seats are not really any better.

There is nothing new about the seats... it is all marketing/branding.

Actually marketing is going to have the Delta logo embossed on the seat. That way after a long flight your butt will be branded with the logo and everyone will know you flew on Delta.

There are no new seats (just new seat covers!!)! There is less free booze! I thought FT'ers would be smart enough playing the game to outsmart the marketing.

You had a HOOU available on EVERY FLIGHT and EVERY SEAT you took prior to thanksgiving 2014! Now you will get a free drink only if you are in one of the super "special" Comfort + seats (and lets face it...you probably will not get Comfort+ any more in the future than you got EC in the past.). That means less chance of free drinks than you had before. Once you factor in C+ Monetization...you will certainly have fewer seats. Just like paying $49 FCM for a Kettle to get $25 worth of free bags, SkyPriority, and free drinks is an easy sell...paying $9-29 will be quite the easy sell with Zone 1 and a free drink, more room, etc

This is a DEVALUATION! Delta has put lipstick on a pig and a surprising number of people are excited about this.
