What "Basic Economy" Will eventually look like

Saw this video today and it made me laugh. A little out there, sure, but sometimes the class distinctions on Delta feel like this, and they are heading even further in that direction...

I'm sure DL is already looking at ways to make sure turbulence only affects those who bought E fares .

Padded seats, legroom, overhead space ... reality looks a whole lot bleaker than anything in this joke .

Thumbs down My guesses

1 bag that has to fit below your seat
No miles earned (or if any 3/4 per dollar spent)
No changes (not sure about IROPS)
No drinks except water
No pre-assigned seats (get those at the gate or at T-24 hours)
Last to board
No upgrades, but may let you buy Y+ for more money

I found the way the movie Soul Plane did its class system to be entertaining.

I loved the videos. I agree that the carol seats looks wonderful and they fully reclined.

Many of those are are already part of the deal or were announced several weeks ago to start in Feb 2015.

My understanding is that you cannot, starting in February, buy C+ for more money. You can't be upgraded to FC either.

I read the mini fine print again because i missed the 2/1 start date for no EC. I thought that it was always that way for some reason
