SDC Question

Never done an SDC before, so quick question...I am finishing up my project much earlier tomorrow than originally planned, so should I call first thing in the morning to change, or wait until I get to the airport? I am planning on getting there when there will still be two flights leaving before my scheduled flight. FWIW, I am in First on both legs; dont know if this should factor in given upgrades and such. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Details? For starters, not all routes are eligible for SDC (or SDS). Also, for SDC it matters greatly how you got into FC.

With the G fare, you SDC directly into FC whenever there's a FC seat available on your new flight.

So should I call first thing, or wait until I get to the airport?

Call. In fact, call today and ask about FC availability on the flights that interest you. Then get yourself confirmed on the flight you want as early as possible (without having to pay a fee).

You can call at any time within 24 hours of your original scheduled flight time. Earlier the better at this point since you are inside the 24 hours.
