Crazy Amex/DL bogo fail. More then 10x the cost of regular ticket
Was toying around with a weekend in FL around jan sometime.


compared to just buying a regular ticket

I've had nothing but SUCCESS and ease-of-use of the Amex certs on low fares, but, you may find some comfort in this 347 post thread:

If the OP is serious about taking this trip with a companion using the cert, he should call DL, and a rep will help him out. I have had two successes with the companion certs since getting the Plat card in '12.

Could be related to this being schedule reload Saturday. Might want to try again tomorrow after things settle down.

I have used mine for several years in a row just fine, however was caught off guard by this search result. My guess is its just a bug of some sort, which i thought was amusing and figured id share on here

Why does it cost 900 effing dollars to fly from MSP-Florida two months out????

It is Key West on a holiday weekend (MLK day). Additionally, Key West's air service is fairly limited, especially since WN/AT pulled out earlier this year.
