Things might get bumpy...
The Pilot's union is getting ready to improve their industry leading contract. They'll be sending out surveys to members for their Section 6 openers.
FAs? A pair of Delta headsets, a thank you for the successful summer. Not setting well with the family members. Oh, and all employees at Delta are getting new uniforms.

Many DL FAs seem pretty happy. As a customer, the level of service they provide is generally very good.

The article states that (based on fiscal year 2013 results):
Employees will get checks equal to 8.26 percent of their eligible earnings last year.

What issues? Not only the FA's, but the ground staff seem pretty happy to me at DL. Perhaps it's a front?

If you want to see a mess - take a look at the "new" UA. Those employees (not all) seem
, at management, each other and the customer. Please don't revert back to that pmDL vs pmNW garbage. It seems RA is doing a good job for the employees, shareholders and customers. Profit sharing, dividends, raises, working together as a team, etc.
I fly a lot on DL - a lot! Leave it alone. I look forward to my flts on DL, UA is another story the past three years. AA/US time will tell. Perhaps AA will see how RA and crew put two good carriers into a great airline.
Any photos of the new uniforms? Perhaps the mini skirts from the 1960's?

I'm told the 'new' uniforms are quite a ways off. Not that the OP suggested they're going to be seen on your flight in the near future, but lest someone start a "spot the new uniform" thread, my sources tell me it's not any time soon.

Are you suggesting DL FAs can't have 'issues' and still provide a good level of service?

As for DL/NW I think it helped that while RA was CEO of DL at the time of merger, he had previously been CEO of NW a few years earlier. I remember fondly being able to access top level executives at NW even when I was a lowly nothing on them. I dread the day he steps down since his time at both airlines was/is marked by successful business with happy customers and employees.
