delta miss a leg as companion tickets

I booked a companion ticket on Delta using certificate from Delta reserve card. My companion might miss the 1st leg. The reservation is like AA-BB-CC-BB-AA. If he miss the 1st leg, will the entire reservation be cancelled (including my ticket) or just his ticket will be cancelled?

If your friend misses the first leg his entire ticket is cancelled. This will not affect your ticket.
