Question regarding UG using global cert.

Hey guys,
I had seen on EF that there were O availability on a couple of dates that were convenient for me. So I called the DM line to organize my trip. Gary on the phone was super helpful and in no time he had me booked in economy first and then upgraded my flights to O for the TATL.
My reservation says I am confirmed in O for those segments, with seats assigned, etc. My ticket receipt still mentions the economy fare codes.
Do I need to do something else here or am I good to go? The reason I ask is that the certs are still open. Just want to make sure I don't forget anything.
Thanks for the insight.

You'll have to have the ticket reissued so the receipt shows the confirmed upgraded segments. Generally that happens somewhat automatically, but you may have to call and ask if you're getting close to the flight date and the certs are still open.

Also do you have any other domestic segments or just tatl? Its worth getting on the waitlist for domestic since it would use the same global cert and give you higher priority if it goes to the airport list.

Your ticket has not been reissued yet to reflect the upgrade. You just need to monitor it and make sure that it is reissued at least a couple of days prior to your departure. If you get to the airport and it has not been reissued, you will have to wait for airport personnel to do the job, which they are not well trained to do.
